What you will do

• Prepare and present reinsurance placement proposals, including detailed claims analysis and coverage terms.
• Negotiate insurance and reinsurance placements while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage policy administration procedures to ensure compliance with reinsurance treaties and government regulations.
• Lead strategic market analysis to identify competitive trends and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with claims, accounting, and marketing departments to support organizational objectives.
• Oversee internal reinsurance operations and serve as the primary contact for carrier audits.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in P&C reinsurance operations, sales, or underwriting.
• Technical expertise in reinsurance markets, placement, and coverage wording.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
