TL;DR
Technical Solution Manager (Cloud/Infrastructure): Lead multidisciplinary teams on complex consulting engagements and deliver value to clients by defining and documenting end-to-end solution architecture. Focus on building and selling PaaS/IaaS/Infrastructure Services solutions with an accent on performance, scalability, security requirements, and creating competitive cost cases for large public and private deals.

What you will do
- Lead solutioning for large public and private industry deals, accountable for delivering client value.
- Define and document overall solution architecture, evaluate and select technologies and platforms, and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Sell and position managed services, PaaS, IaaS, and infrastructure service solutions; coordinate delivery of complex long-term custom solutions and cost cases.
- Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations during engagement phases.
- Support commercial strategy jointly with sales, including technical strategy and solution design ownership.
- Lead teams of experts across different IT areas and countries; meet clients about 40% of the time.
Requirements
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, managed services, and deployment options.
- Experience leading solution strategy and scope for complex engagements and large teams.
- Financial skills to understand and assess financial models and calculations for cost cases.
- Contractual skills: experience creating, assessing, and negotiating contracts.
- Ability to articulate business impact and benefits of solutions and remove technical obstacles while motivating teams.
