TL;DR

DFT Verification Infrastructure Engineer (Embedded): Developing and maintaining validation testing environments and automation tooling for next-generation CPU technologies with an accent on scripting, debug tool optimization, and infrastructure support. Focus on streamlining validation workflows, integrating EDA tools, and leveraging AI to enhance team productivity.

Location: Must be based in Haifa, Israel (Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote).

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain validation testing environments and infrastructure for the P-CORE DFT team.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and streamline debug processes for validation engineers.
  • Interface with CAD, EDA vendors, and IT to resolve infrastructure and tool-related issues.
  • Develop and validate tools for collateral and specification generation for external customers.
  • Improve and implement AI-driven skills to support the validation team's technical workflows.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in pre-silicon validation, CAD, or tool automation.
  • Strong programming and scripting proficiency in Python, TCL, or Perl.
  • Experience with validation environments (e.g., Specman) and HDL languages like Verilog.
  • Familiarity with Linux shell environments and version control systems like Git.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Haifa, Israel 4 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Synopsys/Verdi or Tessent EDA specifications (ICL, PDL).
  • Experience working with agentic AI tools, agents, or GitHub CLI.
