What you will do

• Identify and assess high-potential market opportunities within materials-science-focused industries.
• Conduct structured outreach and discovery with scientific and engineering stakeholders to surface commercially viable problems.
• Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with corporate R&D and innovation teams.
• Deliver tailored product demos that connect capabilities to real-world engineering and digital workflows.
• Synthesize customer feedback into science-informed insights to support product discovery and prioritization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX, Marketing, and Sales teams to refine value propositions and positioning.

Requirements

• Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely aligned scientific field.
• Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or strategic account management.
• Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with scientific and technical decision-makers.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
• Comfortable with domestic and international travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with data products, APIs, scientific databases, or digital R&D tools.
• Exposure to materials informatics, lab digitization, or AI/ML in scientific contexts.
