What you will do

• Establish financial transparency across run, grow, and transform IT spend using accurate forecasting, variance analysis, and standardized KPIs.
• Drive cost optimization and value realization across applications, infrastructure, vendors, and cloud consumption.
• Own IT contract and renewal financial governance to support renew, renegotiate, optimize, or exit decisions.
• Partner with FP&A and Accounting to ensure strong accruals, capitalization practices, and audit readiness.
• Design executive-ready dashboards and analytics as a single source of truth for IT and cloud financial performance.
• Advance Cloud FinOps accountability through tagging discipline, consumption insights, and commitment management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analytics, data analytics, or Financial Operations (FinOps) roles.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and variance management.
• Advanced experience working with large datasets using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Proven ability to translate complex metrics into clear insights for senior and executive stakeholders.
• Hands-on cloud cost management or FinOps experience across AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, or OCI.

Nice to have

• Experience managing IT vendor contracts, renewals, and financial negotiations.
• Exposure to automation or data integration initiatives that reduce manual financial effort.
• Familiarity with cloud tagging strategies and chargeback/showback models.
• Experience building KPI frameworks to track process efficiency and operational maturity.
• Knowledge of enterprise financial systems or IT service management platforms.
