What you will do
- Lead independent 2LoD validation and review of financial risk models, including IRRBB and behavioural models.
- Drive the development and enhancement of ICAAP, stress testing frameworks, and risk appetite calibration.
- Provide oversight of liquidity risk, funding frameworks, and Treasury activities including ALM practices.
- Lead the production and review of financial risk MI, regulatory submissions, and stress testing outputs.
- Act as a technical advisor to Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams, providing credible challenge on methodologies.
- Ensure alignment with CBI, EBA, and other prudential regulations while maintaining audit readiness.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin office 2-3 days per week.
- Strong technical expertise in IRRBB modelling, capital adequacy (ICAAP), or liquidity risk (ALM).
- Deep understanding of prudential regulation such as CRR/CRD and EBA guidelines.
- Experience in model validation, quantitative analysis, or risk methodology development.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders and provide effective challenge.
- Experience working within a banking environment in Treasury, Finance, or Risk functions.
