What you will do
- Run day-to-day grants program operations across three countries, including reviewing, evaluating, and rendering decisions on grant applications per guidelines and business rules.
- Coach members through the end-to-end grant process to maximize successful applications, reduce declines, and ensure hosted activities engage other members.
- Support post-activity reporting to ensure grant funds are used as intended; act as the first escalation point for member and stakeholder concerns, complaints, or sensitive issues.
- Communicate with members and internal/external stakeholders via email and/or phone to resolve inquiries with professionalism and a high standard of care.
- Monitor service delivery against SLAs, identify risks/gaps/opportunities in real time, and contribute to operational reporting and program assessments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for grant programs, processes, and systems; help develop and maintain procedures, SLAs, operational KPIs, and training materials.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, operations, program delivery, or a related role working with diverse clients/members.
- Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service orientation and ability to build trust for coaching and education.
- Strong time-management and planning skills to work under high volumes and tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Experience working within documented processes, guidelines, or policy frameworks, including negotiating skills to coach applicants to meet criteria.
