Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed services.
• Take ownership of deliverables and ensure high-quality code in production.
• Triage and debug complex system issues to maintain service operations.
• Mentor other engineers on the effective use of feature services.
• Continuously improve architecture, testing coverage, and system performance.
• Partner with product teams to define requirements and implement new features.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the office in Redmond, WA
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of scalability challenges, sharding, and horizontal scaling.
• Proficiency in Go and Python.
• Experience with engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kafka, or OpenSearch.
• Background in working on security products.
