• Lead the design and implementation of elegant solutions for complex big data challenges.
• Modernize applications to be modular and scalable using modern cloud-native stacks.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Design systems with privacy and security-first principles.
• Optimize large-scale batch processing pipelines for speed and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on big data.
• 3+ years of experience writing and optimizing large-scale batch processing using Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
• 3+ years of Java and SQL programming skills.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (CS, Math, Statistics, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP data tools (BigTable, BigQuery, Dataproc, PubSub) or Kafka/Apache Beam.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD tools like Helm or Gradle.
• Background in designing interfaces and infrastructure for large-scale RESTful APIs.
