Program Manager

TL;DR

Program Manager (IT): Lead end-to-end IT programs and projects across scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control with an accent on program governance, executive steering, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on building roadmaps and RAID/RACI artifacts, resolving escalations across budget/schedule/scope, and aligning virtual/offshore teams to client and business objectives.

What you will do

• Manage 1–2 large strategic client accounts across multiple service offerings.
• Oversee multi-practice solution development projects and programs, including stakeholder expectations and requirements.
• Build and enforce program governance (Governance, Roadmap, RAID, RACI, executive status reporting, communication plan, stakeholder register, escalation path, financial reporting, lessons learned).
• Facilitate executive steering committee meetings to resolve high-priority risks, issues, and decisions quickly.
• Develop roadmaps tracking workstreams, milestones, dependencies, schedule, risks, and issues for project and client teams.
• Lead escalations and issue resolution for budget, schedule, and scope; coordinate cross-functional, virtual, and offshore teams.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT project and program management and general IT consulting.
• Demonstrated skills across project management methodologies (PMI/PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
• Proficiency with Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Project; experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• PMP (or similar) and/or CSM (or similar) certifications.
• Experience leading programs leveraging AWS and Azure.
