What you will do

• Develop and improve backend features for the Sportsbook platform using Go.
• Enhance system performance, resilience, and scalability in a high-traffic environment.
• Design quality strategies and acceptance criteria for new features from the planning stage.
• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks across API, service, and UI levels.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to manage CI/CD testing pipelines.
• Identify quality risks early and work closely with product owners throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Barcelona, Spain.
• Strong programming proficiency in Go, Java, or C#.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Solid understanding of microservices, Kubernetes, and architectural patterns like DDD.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and messaging systems like Kafka.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot live issues in high-performance applications.

Nice to have

• Experience in the regulated gaming or sports marketing industry.
• Background in coaching or mentoring others in quality practices.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation.
• Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies.
