Location: Birmingham (Hybrid, minimum 1 day per week in office)

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of high-value EL/PL, product liability, and catastrophic injury claims.
• Perform forensic analysis of quantum evidence and identify anomalies in medical records.
• Draft technical advice on indemnity, liability, causation, and claims resolution strategy.
• Instruct medical experts and counsel, and attend mediations, JSMs, and court hearings.
• Interview witnesses and draft formal statements and pleadings.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and support their technical development.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor status.
• Experience in large loss or catastrophic injury claims (defendant or claimant).
• Strong knowledge of indemnity, RTA liability, and complex medical causation.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience with Ogden tables is preferred.
