TL;DR

Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist (Medtech): Promoting and selling advanced insulin pump therapy solutions to healthcare professionals and patients with an accent on clinical education and relationship management. Focus on driving product adoption for Type 1 diabetes management and serving as a trusted clinical partner within the Dutch market.

Location: Must be based in and eligible to work in the Netherlands. Role requires up to 80% travel within the territory.

What you will do

  • Manage your assigned territory to meet or exceed commercial sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Provide clinical training and education on insulin pump therapy to patients, physicians, and clinical staff.
  • Identify new business opportunities and execute strategies to differentiate Tandem technology.
  • Collaborate with internal Sales, Medical Affairs, and Customer Support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of all territory activities in the CRM system.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Dutch and English is mandatory.
  • Must be based in and eligible to work in the Netherlands.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device sales, diabetes care, or a related clinical field.
  • Strong understanding of Type 1 diabetes management, insulin pumps, and CGM systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% within the Netherlands and occasionally to the U.S. or Switzerland.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Teams.

Nice to have

  • Background in nursing, dietetics, or equivalent paramedical field.
  • Direct experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales.
