TL;DR

Fullstack Developer (Fullstack/Government): Building and optimizing specialized analytical solutions and automated processes for federal government clients with an accent on microservices, cloud architecture, and database management. Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid onsite in Bethesda, MD. Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Salary: $60,000 - $180,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and deploy specialized user applications, databases, and microservices using a hybrid Agile approach.
• Automate manual analytical processes to solve complex technical challenges.
• Maintain code integrity and organization across front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, launch, and document new features and deployment procedures.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases.
• Support off-hours deployment activities as required by project needs.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong experience with back-end programming languages (Java/Spring, Python).
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of cloud architectures and tools, specifically AWS (GovCloud/C2S).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of messaging services such as Kafka, SQS, or SNS.
• Familiarity with automated testing patterns (JUnit, Mocha/Chai).
• Experience with DevOps environments and data integration tools.
