What you will do

• Define and own the multi-year target architecture across the product suite, balancing product autonomy with shared platform leverage.
• Establish architectural strategies to enable delivery across on-premise, private cloud, public cloud, and pure cloud SaaS models.
• Drive shared-services strategy for identity, data, integration, and observability to reduce fragmentation.
• Design abstractions and packaging models for reliable operation across heterogeneous environments with differing constraints.
• Embed security, privacy, and regulatory compliance standards relevant to financial services into the architecture by design.
• Establish and run an architecture governance function, including standards, decision records, and a technology radar.

Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering with a sustained track record in senior architecture roles (Principal or Chief Architect).
• Experience owning architecture for enterprise-grade products delivered across both on-premise and cloud/SaaS models.
• Expertise in distributed systems, multi-tenancy, data architecture, API design, and at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.
• Experience operating in regulated environments, ideally within financial services.
• Proven ability to lead technically and influence senior engineers and executives without direct authority.

• Experience evolving legacy on-premise product portfolios toward cloud and SaaS.
• Familiarity with multi-region data residency, sovereignty, and localization requirements.

• Background with security certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS.
