Location: Onsite at Hospital Site, Vancouver, BC, Canada
Compensation: $7,622.83 - $11,886.67 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Train, validate, and apply AI/ML/DL models using clinical and wearable data within the ICP platform.
- Oversee the cleaning, maintenance, and integration of data from varied internal and external sources.
- Conduct extensive modeling of complex large datasets to explore data validity and perform statistical analysis.
- Develop statistical approaches and implement program code using Python, R, SAS, or Matlab.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and data security policies regarding sensitive health information.
- Collaborate with faculty researchers, post-docs, and industry partners to support research publications and ethics applications.
Requirements
- Post-graduate degree in Statistics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three years of related experience in research analysis.
- Proficiency in AI/ML/DL frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database systems and data extraction.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Nice to have
- M.Sc. in computer science, statistics, or applied mathematics.
- Hands-on experience with Scikit-Learn and big data tools like Spark or Hive.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with clinical or healthcare-related data.
