What you will do

• Design, prototype, and build cloud- and AI-enabled solutions while providing architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Lead the architecture and delivery of cloud-native modernization initiatives across defense environments.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities, MLOps processes, and advanced analytics into enterprise workflows.
• Champion DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, and Infrastructure as Code to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Partner with stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and implementation strategies aligned with mission objectives.
• Establish engineering standards for automated testing, system reliability, and federal cybersecurity compliance.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and active DoW Top Secret clearance required.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology solutions, with 3+ years in federal or defense environments.
• Extensive experience leading AWS cloud migration and cloud-native transformation.
• Proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, or equivalent.
• Strong background in DevSecOps, Kubernetes, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• AWS Professional-level certification and CompTIA Security+ (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Nice to have

• Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) initiatives in secure federal cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Amazon EKS and large-scale Kubernetes operations.
• Experience with CI/CD toolchains like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Background in large-scale modeling, simulation, or mission engineering.
