What you will do
- Develop new business opportunities within EU Agencies and EC-funded bodies (e.g., HaDEA, CINEA, EISMEA, ECDC, ECHA, EUIPO, Frontex) and execute sales plans aligned to EC funding cycles.
- Own account planning and forecasting for an assigned subset of the EU institutional market, ensuring structured reporting and continual pipeline growth.
- Originate and qualify leads through networking, events, social channels, and market intelligence; build trusted relationships with C-level and procurement stakeholders.
- Run the full sales lifecycle from early qualification and need analysis to opportunity shaping, financial structuring, and closure.
- Coordinate with technical leaders and SMEs to craft competitive proposals and lead/contribute to RFP responses across framework contracts (e.g., DIGIT-TM, FWC Cloud, FWC Data Management, cybersecurity frameworks).
- Represent ARHS at key Agency events and consultations to support revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer relationships.
Requirements
- Higher education degree in business, management, public administration, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role and 5+ years selling IT services.
- 5+ years of experience working directly with EU Agencies or EC-funded bodies, including strong understanding of procurement mechanisms, framework contracts, and multiannual budget cycles.
- Strong customer network within EU Agencies and/or EC Directorates.
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets in a competitive, framework-driven environment.
- Fluency in English; French or Dutch is a strong advantage.
