What you will do

• Execute post-award financial management, including award set-up, transaction processing, and project close-out for grants and clinical trials.
• Ensure strict compliance with Uniform Guidance, federal, state, and private sponsor regulations.
• Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and cash flow, troubleshooting payment variances with sponsors.
• Prepare complex financial reports and journal entries to support the monthly close process.
• Implement and document internal controls and provide necessary documentation for audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of financial management specifically in a clinical trial setting.
• Expertise in research accounting and experience with compliance and auditing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, filtering, and basic formulas).
• Must be based in Pennsylvania.
