What you will do

• Author hardware functional specifications for SD-WAN appliances and PoE Ethernet switches.
• Lead component selection/qualification and review schematics, PCB layout/routing, stackup, and fabrication details with ODM/JDM partners.
• Review signal integrity and power integrity simulations (e.g., DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, PoE, common mode) and support lab bring-up/debug of prototypes.
• Drive complex system-level debug across software, diagnostics, hardware, and test teams to meet test & compliance requirements.
• Manage ODM/JDM partners from concept through production: schedules, risk management, milestone tracking, and training on high-yield test and manufacturing requirements.
• Apply DFM principles to optimize for cost, power, and performance; mentor engineers and guide cross-functional product requirements for SD-WAN & PoE.

Requirements

• BSEE or MSEE (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in hardware engineering and product development.
• Experience designing networking hardware, especially Ethernet switching and SD-WAN appliances.
• Strong signal integrity and power integrity expertise (e.g., impedance/PDN, differential routing, insertion loss, S-parameters, TDR, VNA, common mode noise).
• High-speed interface design experience: DDR, PCIe, Ethernet (1G/2.5G/5G/10G, 25G, 100G), and USB.
• Experience working with ODM/JDM partners and taking products from concept to production; strong project management and cross-functional leadership.

Nice to have

• Embedded x86/ARM system design experience.
• Experience with systems featuring WiFi/Cellular/RF interfaces.
• FPGA design and system simulation using Verilog (if applicable).
