What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems using AWS services.
• Build Spring Boot-based API frameworks and ensure seamless system integration.
• Design and implement Kafka eventing mechanisms, including producers, consumers, and schema validation.
• Create REST APIs and manage asynchronous processing workflows.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment.
• Apply microservices architecture and domain-driven design (DDD) principles.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Hands-on proficiency with Spring Boot and API framework development.
• Solid understanding of Kafka eventing mechanisms and message flow.
• Experience designing scalable backend systems and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development.
• Must be located in or able to work in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the insurance industry.
