What you will do

• Produce and own end-to-end solution architecture for mobile and web digital platforms to ensure seamless customer journeys.
• Lead architectural decisions for single-page applications, backend integrations, and API-led ecosystems.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure component designs align with enterprise principles.
• Translate business outcomes into secure, robust, and operationally sound technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and PI planning to maintain alignment between delivery and architectural direction.
• Drive the translation of customer journeys into technical designs and embed non-functional requirements.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in designing microservices-based architectures within complex enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, PaaS, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS), and serverless technologies.
• Proven experience delivering scalable APIs and supporting integration with external consumers.
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture patterns and business process management.
• Advanced knowledge of authentication and authorisation standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Hove, UK.

Nice to have

• TOGAF or similar architecture certification.
• Professional cloud certifications across Azure or AWS.
