What you will do
- Lead day-to-day execution and delivery of audit and advisory activities throughout the year.
- Supervise associate-level professionals and delegate engagement responsibilities.
- Communicate and resolve audit matters during engagements with support from the engagement manager.
- Research and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures for blockchain and digital assets.
- Draft financials and report audit findings (verbal and written).
- Advise clients on U.S. regulatory changes, risk management, and industry best practices to ensure compliance across markets.
Requirements
- Passion for blockchain and digital assets.
- Minimum 3+ years of audit experience, including audit planning, developing audit programs, performing testing, and preparing work papers.
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. accounting standards (GAAP), regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with internal accounting controls, control testing, and professional standards and regulations.
- Strong familiarity with technical accounting topics common in the industry (e.g., token issuances, exchange/custodial accounting, DeFi, staking, lending, derivatives accounting, crypto basis tracking).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
