What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of investment operations and accounting projects.
• Partner with project sponsors to develop discovery artifacts, including project charters and resource plans.
• Manage project scope, financial forecasts, and cost variance across large-scale strategic initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through maintenance of logs and pre-mortem activities.
• Prepare and present project status materials to senior leadership and steering committees.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across corporate function project management standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Boston, MA, Springfield, MA, or New York, NY
• 8+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
• Proven track record of leading projects impacting core investment management and capital market systems.
• Strong understanding of alternative investment instruments and products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for senior executive engagement.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years within a PMO.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
