TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Cloud/AI): Identifying and researching target accounts and conducting outbound outreach to drive pipeline growth with an accent on consultative selling and lead qualification. Focus on nurturing MQLs, scheduling discovery meetings for the sales team, and applying value-based messaging for AI and Cloud solutions.

Location: Hybrid in Rochester, New York, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Base salary: $52,000–$72,000 + Commission

What you will do

  • Research and identify target accounts across key growth industries.
  • Perform outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to reach decision-makers.
  • Qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) by uncovering business needs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Schedule discovery and introductory meetings for the Sales team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of activity, conversations, and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and technical teams to refine sales motions and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient mindset.
