What you will do

• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship new analysis workflows for researchers.
• Design frontend experiences in parallel with backend schemas and APIs, evolving data models as user needs emerge.
• Implement end-to-end features across the stack, including logging formats, APIs, and data access patterns.
• Make pragmatic decisions on how user-logged data should be stored, queried, and rendered.
• Collaborate with product, design, and customer-facing teams to validate ideas through user feedback.
• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability when working with large, complex, or high-volume datasets.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building user-facing software with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Proficiency with modern web technologies: React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and experience with at least one backend language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, C++).
• Ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces where requirements and abstractions evolve.
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with export control regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience designing APIs to support exploratory or analytical workflows.
• Familiarity with large-scale data systems, time-series data, or domain-specific file formats.
• Exposure to 3D point cloud visualization frameworks such as BabylonJS or potree.
