What you will do

• Own the development of fireworks.ai, focusing on creating a delightful developer journey.
• Design and implement responsive, performant web applications and a model playground.
• Mentor and lead frontend/UI engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
• Define and implement frontend architectural standards and development workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to align on requirements and delivery.
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable component libraries and frameworks.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Mateo, CA
• 6+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role (e.g., tech lead or engineering manager).
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Next.js.
• Proven track record of delivering production-grade web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Prior experience as a technical founder.
