What you will do

  • Prepare, file, and serve court documents, and manage court orders and hearing dates.
  • Liaise with experts, counsel, insureds, and witnesses regarding availability and attendance.
  • Maintain case management systems, including interim payment records and offer history.
  • Arrange medical appointments, request records, and draft summaries of medical evidence.
  • Conduct legal research and redact documents to ensure GDPR compliance and legal privilege.
  • Handle general queries from insurers, experts, and witnesses via telephone and email.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work in Manchester, UK (Hybrid).
  • Experience in a litigated personal injury defendant or claimant paralegal/support role.
  • Minimum education of 5 GCSEs (grades 5/A-C) or legal qualifications (e.g., LPC or ILEX).
  • Strong communication, IT skills, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
