What you will do

  • Manage complex injury claims including high-value multi-track and catastrophic injuries (brain, spinal, amputation, and fatal claims).
  • Perform forensic analysis of voluminous quantum evidence and draft technical advice on reserves, indemnity, and liability.
  • Communicate directly with insurer clients to provide matter updates and resolve queries.
  • Draft pleadings, applications, and witness statements, and conduct witness interviews.
  • Instruct counsel and attend conferences, JSMs, mediations, and court trials.
  • Delegate tasks to paralegals and support their professional development.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor, CILEX, or equivalent proven legal experience in a similar role.
  • Experience handling defendant large loss or multi-track personal injury cases.
  • Strong understanding of indemnity, liability, quantum, case law, and Court Practice Rules.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding service to corporate insurance clients.
