TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Fintech): Building and delivering secure, reliable, and accessible banking products with an accent on Spring Boot microservices and React/TypeScript web applications. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the Milton Keynes office (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Design and deliver end-to-end features using Kotlin/Java Spring Boot and React/TypeScript.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and produce Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
  • Support production services by monitoring metrics, responding to incidents, and improving system reliability.
  • Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to shape practical solutions and deliver product goals.
  • Use AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK with the ability to work in a hybrid model from the Milton Keynes office.
  • Experience building and operating Spring Boot microservices in Kotlin or Java.
  • Practical experience with React and TypeScript for building performant user interfaces.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment (Azure preferred).
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
