What you will do

• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium or KiCAD.
• Manage component selection and BOM creation, coordinating with PCBA manufacturers.
• Execute hardware bring-up, testing, and validation.
• Collaborate with embedded engineers to ensure smooth software–hardware integration.
• Maintain hardware design documentation and revision tracking.
• Present technical hardware solutions to clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HW design, including multi-layer PCBs and hardware bring-up.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Ability to interpret datasheets, application notes, and reference designs.
• Understanding of signal integrity, grounding, and EMI best practices.
• Proficiency in documentation and version control (e.g., Git).
• Ability to communicate technical matters to clients.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of low-power design and battery-powered systems.
• Experience with high-speed signal design, controlled impedance, and RF layout.
• Python skills for scripting, automation, and prototyping.
• Basic embedded programming skills.
