What you will do

• Manage and maintain Kafka infrastructure, including AWS MSK.
• Debug, upgrade, and resolve complex Kafka broker issues.
• Implement monitoring and maintenance strategies to ensure system reliability.
• Integrate Kafka with various platforms and external systems.
• Optimize Kafka configurations for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI-powered product development.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico
• Strong expertise in Kafka, specifically Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect.
• Hands-on experience managing Kafka infrastructure.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, or Java.
• Experience implementing monitoring and maintenance strategies.
• Solid understanding of Kafka configuration and scalability best practices.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AI tooling for workflow optimization and process automation.
