What you will do

• Oversee multiple luxury audio projects from concept to production, ensuring delivery deadlines.
• Plan, design, and document software requirements for high-performance audio systems.
• Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external partners for feature implementation and bug fixes.
• Lead systems design reviews and prepare technical documentation and project reports.
• Drive innovation in audio system design by tracking industry trends and technological advancements.
• Provide hands-on development support and coach teams on industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in system-level development for high-performance consumer audio systems.
• Proficiency in C and C++ with the ability to troubleshoot code hands-on.
• Experience with embedded systems (Bare Metal/RTOS) and protocols like RS-232, I2C, SPI, and USB.
• Solid knowledge of modern software management (Git, CI/CD) and project tools (Jira).
• Willingness to work onsite in Cambridge, UK and travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Practical experience with Linux systems (boot, kernel, ALSA).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
• Experience with Flutter for app development.
• Knowledge of audio A/D and D/A converters and measurement techniques.
