Salary: $110,000 – $175,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design and improve AI workflows, including prompt chains, agent patterns, and structured-output schemas.
• Translate complex payer rules and clinical evidence standards into testable workflow logic.
• Build and maintain evals to ensure AI quality and reliability before production.
• Collaborate directly with enterprise customers to clarify requirements and handle edge cases.
• Create detailed workflow specifications, test plans, and implementation documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in technical implementation, AI operations, software engineering, or related roles.
• Must be based near New York City or willing to relocate.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to experiment with LLMs and a high degree of detail-orientation.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience building LLM agents, prompt chains, or AI workflows.
• Proficiency with JSON, APIs, and low-code workflow tools.
• Background in regulated domains like healthcare, legal, fintech, or insurance.
• Experience designing QA processes or evals for AI reliability.
• Previous experience at an early-stage startup.
