Fullstack Developer, Lead (Java/JEE)

TL;DR

Fullstack Developer, Lead (Java/JEE): Supporting the ongoing modernization and maintenance of CBP information systems with an accent on middleware applications, user interface applications, and web services applications. Focus on software design documentation, managing software testing activities, and providing engineering support for solutions deployed to production.

Location: Onsite in Ashburn, Virginia. Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance

What you will do

• Participate in all Program Increment and Sprint ceremonies as an active member of the agile software development team.
• Design and develop .Net applications including middleware applications, user interface applications (java script framework), and web services applications.
• Develop and integrate with PostgreSQL server databases.
• Develop software design documentation which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc.
• Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Microsoft Visual Studio and GIT.
• Manage software testing activities to include data setup, defect troubleshooting, and resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a directly related field and nine (9) years or more experience; Master’s degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD and 4 years related experience.
• 9+ years of experience in software development/engineering.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance
• Experience with Middleware and User interface driven applications.
• Experience with Web Services development.
• Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills.
• Experience with JavaScript, Vue.js, C#, .NET Core, Web API, Visual Studio code, Harness, Gitlab, xUnit, SonarQube.
• AWS experience.
• Experience with Agile development.

• Current holder of a DHS Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
