What you will do
- Develop and maintain embedded software for fiber monitoring devices using C/C++ or Rust.
- Design and implement real-time data processing pipelines for sensor data.
- Contribute to system architecture and software design decisions.
- Prototype and evaluate new technologies through proof-of-concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, system, and product teams.
- Handle debugging, testing, and post-release software improvements.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in embedded software development with C/C++ or Rust.
- Basic understanding of networking systems or protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Based in or able to work from Munich or Meiningen, Germany.
Nice to have
- Experience with Embedded Linux buildsystems.
- Knowledge of real-time or sensor data processing.
- Exposure to telecom or network infrastructure systems.
