What you will do

  • Lead the selection and technical trade-off decisions for Radar and Camera sensors.
  • Define perception interfaces, including data interfaces, timestamp strategies, QoS, latency, and bandwidth requirements.
  • Coordinate with algorithm teams to establish clear responsibility splits between sensor-related issues and algorithm performance.
  • Lead system-level integration strategies and determine the technical direction for resolving issues during joint debugging.
  • Own the technical feasibility and system risks associated with the sensor solution.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in EE, mechanical engineering, automation, vehicle engineering, robotics, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with Camera or millimeter-wave radar selection, integration, or system validation.
  • Ability to communicate technically with perception algorithm teams and make independent technical judgments.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for aligning cross-functional teams and managing suppliers.
  • High level of initiative and accountability in complex engineering environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience in multi-sensor fusion programs.
  • Experience with ROS or ROS2.
  • Background in autonomous driving, construction machinery, or robotics projects.
