Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 • Offers Equity

What you will do
- Design, implement, and optimize RF antennas for GNSS systems, covering spacecraft payloads and ground monitoring systems.
- Perform 3D EM simulations using Ansys HFSS to optimize array performance, scan volume, and impedance matching.
- Lead trades between analog, digital, and hybrid beamforming approaches to meet SWaP and thermal constraints.
- Interpret PCBA schematics and layout drawings using ECAD tools such as Altium.
- Conduct hands-on RF testing and calibrations using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Analyze RF test data to assess performance against design requirements and support off-site testing events.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of RF engineering experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), or other protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
- Expertise in RF design across L-Band, S-Band, and C-Band.
- Experience with space RF electronics, including knowledge of multipaction and PIM.
- Proficiency with Ansys HFSS and Keysight ADS.
- Proven track record of taking complex antenna systems from initial concept through to production and deployment in space applications.
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge and experience with GNSS systems.
- Experience with the design of feed networks, polarizers, or waveguides.
- Familiarity with RFIC/MMIC technologies and array calibration techniques/algorithms.
