What you will do

• Lead machine-level performance engineering for Surface Rock Drills, influencing existing and future platforms.
• Produce high-quality simulations and analyses to guide critical design and performance tradeoff decisions.
• Develop, validate, and maintain base machine analytical tools to ensure accuracy and correlation to physical performance.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams to support robust product delivery.
• Define and influence validation strategies for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
• Coordinate analysis activities across cross-functional teams and build business cases for process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Denison, TX for onsite work (5 days a week).
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Technical leadership experience in machine-level performance using simulation and analytical methods.
• Ability to diagnose complex machine performance issues, identify root causes, and apply data analytics to assess risk and benefit.
• Strong communication skills to present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience performing analysis and simulation specifically for hirify.global machine systems.
• Knowledge of Surface Rock Drill applications, engine, hydraulics, compressed air, and cooling systems.
• Proficiency with tools such as Dynasty, DATK, D2D, Simulink, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Experience with engineering data systems including EDS, HVC, and VisView.
