What you will do

• Conceptualize, design, and implement GNSS/INS navigation algorithms, including state estimation and sensor fusion.
• Analyze real flight data to diagnose complex issues and implement algorithmic improvements.
• Refactor and generalize existing navigation modules to enhance performance in challenging environments.
• Lead technical discussions, contribute to architecture decisions, and maintain system documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of flight control and embedded software engineers.
• Improve navigation performance through precise sensor characterization and calibration.

Requirements

• M.S. in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Multiyear professional experience in navigation or sensor fusion for robotics or UAVs.
• Expertise in estimation and filtering techniques such as EKF and Factor Graphs.
• Solid understanding of fixed-wing and multirotor flight dynamics and mechanics.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and at least one of Python, C++, or Rust.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
