Junior Data Engineer (Python/Snowflake)

What you will do

• Assist the Data Engineering team with the migration from BigQuery to Snowflake.
• Translate and optimize SQL queries across different cloud platforms.
• Perform end-to-end validation to ensure data correctness and pipeline reliability.
• Write and maintain incremental dbt models.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and document work for maintainability.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Solid experience with SQL, including writing and debugging queries.
• Basic knowledge of dbt (data build tool).
• Familiarity with Snowflake and/or Python at a beginner level.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) level required.
• Location: Must be based in Europe or Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience with Go.
• Experience with Kafka and Airflow.
