What you will do

• Define microarchitecture and implement RTL for SoC blocks.
• Collaborate with IP providers to integrate IPs into the SoC.
• Coordinate with verification and firmware teams to meet functional and performance goals.
• Manage design quality, including clock, reset, and power domain crossings and timing constraints.
• Partner with physical design teams to meet timing, area, and power goals.
• Drive high-quality design handoffs to partner teams and contribute to next-generation architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience with a Bachelor's, 5+ with a Master's, or 3+ with a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in RTL design, coding, and simulation using SystemVerilog.
• Deep understanding of microarchitecture and SoC architecture.
• Experience with system-level design principles such as power, performance, and area trade-offs.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Santa Clara or Folsom, California.

• Understanding of AI models and how they shape AI hardware architectures.
• Proficiency in implementing clock, reset, and power domain crossings both logically and physically.
