What you will do
- Provide high-quality primary care via video visits, live chat, and secure messaging for at least 36 patient contact hours per week.
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning.
- Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions and provide preventive wellness counseling.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications according to regulations.
- Serve as a collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, mentorship, and chart reviews.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active board certification in Family Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of South Carolina.
- Active medical licenses in CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency.
- Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of the regular schedule.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in telehealth.
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
