What you will do

• Monitor workflow and ensure production goals (TAT, SLA) and deadlines are met.
• Scale employees and equipment to meet future planning and production needs.
• Oversee quality control/assurance programs and maintain departmental regulatory compliance.
• Manage headcount, recruitment, and performance reviews for direct reports.
• Troubleshoot lab processing errors and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams including R&D, Engineering, and Statistics.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Biological Sciences or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Carlos, CA.
• Minimum of 3+ years of industry-related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with proficiency in MS Excel.

Nice to have

• Current ASCP board certification in Medical Technology.
• California State CLS or CGMBS license.
