TL;DR

Software Engineer I: VIP (EDA): Testing, validating, and deploying enhancements on hardware device models for memory verification with an accent on simulation, coverage gaps, and performance bottlenecks. Focus on developing features for the next generation of Verification IP tools and resolving complex technical issues in memory verification.

Location: Hybrid in Belo Horizonte, Brazil

What you will do

  • Test, validate, and deploy enhancements on cutting-edge hardware device models for key customers.
  • Collaborate with R&D to develop, implement, and test features for next-generation Verification IP tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to memory verification, including simulation failures and performance bottlenecks.
  • Provide clear and concise technical explanations and solutions to customers.
  • Reproduce and fix customer-reported issues in-house to facilitate debugging and resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of software development experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Solid advanced data structures and algorithms knowledge.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
  • Very good spoken and written English and Portuguese.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with memories like DDR, LPDDR, HBM, and GDDR.
  • Knowledge of functional verification using SV/UVM.
  • Ability to analyze waveform data, simulation logs, and coverage reports.
  • Knowledge of EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL.
  • Experience with version control systems and scripting (Tcl or Python).
