What you will do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based one-on-one counseling and crisis intervention for patients with SUD/MH disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation that meets medical necessity and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate care with medical providers, case managers, and community partners to support whole-person treatment.
- Help patients build coping skills, emotional resilience, and relapse prevention strategies to ensure long-term stability.
- Collaborate with leadership on program initiatives, workflows, and process improvements to strengthen the dual diagnosis program.
Requirements
- Independent Licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) and a Master's degree.
- Experience providing substance use disorder and/or mental health counseling services.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and recovery-oriented care.
- Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be based in or able to work in Knoxville, TN (Hybrid schedule).
