What you will do

• Perform patient care activities, including check-in/out, measuring vital signs, and providing patient education.
• Interview patients and update medication lists and clinical information in the EMR.
• Collect wound culture samples and process specimens for courier transport.
• Execute clerical tasks such as scheduling procedures, answering phones, and distributing reports.
• Process medical record requests and Vascular Access Reports while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Manage office and medical supplies inventory to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certificate or diploma from an accredited training program.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Two years of related experience or training preferred.
• Proficiency with Athena, DocTalk, and Microsoft Office software.
• Minimum data entry rate of 35 words per minute.
• Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.
