What you will do

• Define SoC hardware security architecture, including HSM specifications, secure boot, and Root of Trust (RoT) concepts.
• Translate security features into high-level HW/SW specifications and derive technical requirements for product design.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis to develop architectural mitigations and design constraints.
• Architect secure key storage and provisioning (eFUSE/OTP) and develop security-aware DFT/TEST strategies.
• Collaborate with RTL, verification, physical design, and firmware teams to integrate security into implementation and validation flows.
• Ensure system-level compliance with cybersecurity and safety standards such as ISO 21434, ISO 26262, and IEC 61508.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering.
• 10–15+ years of experience in SoC or MCU design with a strong focus on hardware security architecture.
• Deep understanding of SoC architecture, AMBA/AXI-class interconnects, and memory subsystems.
• Proven expertise in threat modeling and security validation for SoC-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with RTL design, synthesis concepts, and EDA flows.
• Ability to work from the Austin or San Jose offices.
