What you will do

• Perform comprehensive triage of referrals and medical records to determine urgency and risk.
• Deliver structured telephone and video triage assessments using internal policies and best practices.
• Identify exclusions, contraindications, and safeguarding concerns, escalating them according to policy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and manage internal/external referrals.
• Lead pathway audits, SOP development, and the creation of digital triage tools.
• Champion clinical governance and incident reporting to ensure continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist and CSP member (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years at Band 6 or above.
• Demonstrable expertise in remote and telephone triage and safety-netting.
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to make confident autonomous decisions.
• Proficiency with EMRs, telehealth platforms, and digital PROMs.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding, GDPR, and clinical governance.

Nice to have

• Experience in pain management or cannabis-based medicinal products (CBPM).
• Background in a start-up, scale-up, or high-volume healthcare setting.
• Experience developing SOPs, leading audits, or contributing to service redesign.
