Associate Software Engineer (Maya)

What you will do

• Solve pipeline workflow problems ranging from routine to challenging cases.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested Python code for Maya tools.
• Partner with artists in a fast-paced production environment to resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to technical briefs and user documentation for pipeline tools.
• Support and troubleshoot Maya-based pipeline tools and scripts.
• Collaborate with the team to improve overall pipeline reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience with artist/pipeline workflows through internships, coursework, or personal projects.
• Foundational Python skills, including the ability to read, modify, and write utility scripts.
• Strong debugging mindset with the ability to reproduce issues and analyze logs.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Korean.
• Understanding of core programming concepts including OOP and data structures.
• Familiarity with Maya, Git, and ticketing systems like Jira.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Qt or PySide.
